Capability YT-01

Europe-wide yacht movement.

Yacht Transits moves motor and sailing vessels from 30 to 130 feet between any two European ports, in every season the window allows.

Single accountability

A delivery is not a single task. It is weather routing, fuel and range planning, customs and Temporary Admission documentation, insurance compliance, berth allocation, watchkeeping rotation and continuous position reporting.

Yacht Transits contracts all of it as a single operation. The vessel is surveyed before departure, crewed to her tonnage and cruising area, and reported continuously from lines off to handover.

  • Commercially endorsed crew — skippers and watchkeepers qualified to the tonnage and the waters transited.
  • Every vessel class — 30 to 130 feet, planing, semi-displacement and displacement hulls.
  • Continental coverage — no single-region limitation, no fixed marina, no flag-state restriction.

Services YT-02

Six services. One contract.

Delivery is the core operation. The functions around it — crew, transport, clearance, tuition and survey — are contracted from the same operator.

01

Yacht delivery by sea

Skippered passage between any two European ports, planned against weather window, fuel range and contracted date.

02

Road transport & shipping

Low-loader haulage, cradle specification and yacht-transport shipping where a sea passage is not the correct method.

Commercially endorsed skippers and watchkeepers placed individually or as a full offshore watch rotation.

Explore

04

Temporary Admission, transit logs, port clearance, crew documentation and proof-of-status records.

Explore

Explore

06

Pre-delivery inspection

Documented condition and systems survey before departure and on arrival, with photographic record.

Sequence YT-03

Five stages. Position reported at every one.

Loss of contact is the most commonly cited failure in yacht delivery. The sequence is built to remove it.

01

Brief & fixed quote

Vessel, ports and window are submitted. A written quote returns covering crew, fuel estimate, berthing, insurance requirements and customs work. No cost is discovered afterwards.

02

Passage plan & weather routing

Legs, bolt-holes, fuel stops, tidal gates, forecast models and go/no-go criteria are issued before departure. Departure waits on the window.

03

Pre-departure survey

Engines, steering, fuel, bilges, seacocks, safety equipment, tender and covers are checked and photographed. Defects are reported before departure.

04

Passage & position reporting

Position, revised ETA, sea state and weather advisories are transmitted at agreed intervals. Plan changes are reported from the vessel first.

05

Arrival, handover & report

Vessel is berthed, washed down, fuelled if specified, and handed over with a written arrival report, engine hours and photographic record.

Coverage YT-04

All of Europe. Not one corner of it.

Base of operations is Beaulieu-sur-Mer. Operating area is the continent. Vessels are built in the north, sold in the south, wintered inland and chartered in the islands — a single-coastline operator cannot serve that.

Standards YT-05

Operating standards.

The value of an operator shows in decisions that are never seen: the turn-back, the front sat out, the weeping seal identified before it becomes a tow, the documentation produced the moment a port authority asks for it.

  • Insurance-led compliance. Underwriter delivery conditions are obtained, met, and confirmed in writing before departure.
  • Conservative weather criteria. Go/no-go thresholds are set in advance and held. Delay is reported with cause.
  • Documented condition. Photographic and systems record at both ends. Departure and arrival condition are not disputable.
  • Single accountability. One account manager from quote through to handover.
